Four Ways To Expand Your Gratitude Practice & Multiply The Richness Of Your Life!

It’s no secret that gratitude is vital.

We hear it all the time in popular culture these days. We’re told it’s critical in self-help books. It’s become a mainstay in the world of Manifestation and The Law Of Attraction.

Gratitude brings you more of what you want. Gratitude is the attitude that makes life better. Gratitude is the key to life.

You may write gratitude lists or say prayers in gratitude every day.

Both are brilliant.

Gratitude is definitely a super powerful force.

Today we’re going to look at a few powerful and life-expanding ways to bring more gratitude to every day.

(my new roots sprouted chickpea hummus)

Give thanks for your food.

Someone grew it, someone picked it, someone shipped it to you… and all of it is monumental. Not only that but the sun, perhaps some bees and a lot of water and nutrients and a team of microorganisms helped to bring it to life.

If you grow your own food you know there’s a whole lot more that goes into a harvest than sticking seeds in the ground, and all that energy is something to admire.

To extend your gratitude-– You can say a personal blessing over your food, you can shop at places that support local farmers, you can learn to cook things that avoid food waste, and you can share food with others as much as possible. That’s a starting place. The ideas are infinite.

Revive the Thank You note, even if it’s a virtual one.

Thank you’s never go out of style. Send thank you notes to people, notes of appreciation, notes to say hi…

Thoughtfulness is magical.

If you have privilege, use it, spend it + put your gratitude behind it.

I feel so blessed that I can walk outside without fear of being harmed because of the color of my skin, my religion or my sexual orientation to name just a few aspects of my privilege. I don’t want those to be privileges any more– I want everyone to have that level of safety, inclusion and freedom. Every day I do something to further a goal of more equality, inspired by so many people around me who have (and continue to) raise the bar high for what’s possible.

Anything you can do to advocate for others in need of your voice, energy and action is always epic. It’s hands-down transformed my depth of connection to my own life, and if you’ve done it I know you feel the same.

Pay it forward in all ways.

Buy groceries for someone, send in donations, recommend people for jobs, support local businesses more exclusively if you can, brainstorm ideas with friends who are pivoting their lives right now…

Keep on paying it forward. Every day.

When you give, you expand.

It’s gratitude in action.

This is the stuff that doesn’t just make you manifest much more… it is life changing in the most potent of inspiring ways!
